Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between your business and Afribrainy Investment Co Ltd. In short: use CeriseSocial lawfully, only post content you have the right to post, follow the rules of the platforms you connect, and keep your login safe. CeriseSocial is in early access, so features may change.
Agreement
These terms apply to your use of CeriseSocial, a service operated by Afribrainy Investment Co Ltd (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the business you represent, and you confirm that you are at least 18 and authorized to act for that business.
The service
CeriseSocial lets you connect social media accounts, prepare and schedule posts, publish them, and track their status on each platform.
CeriseSocial is currently offered as an early access service. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable while we improve it. We will give reasonable notice of changes that significantly reduce what you can do.
Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity in your account and workspaces, including actions by team members you invite.
- Tell us straight away at the address below if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or write in CeriseSocial. You give us permission to store, process and publish that content only as needed to provide the service, for example to send a scheduled post to Facebook.
You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the rights to it, including any photos, music or trademarks it contains, and that it is accurate, especially prices and the availability of items you sell.
Connected platforms
CeriseSocial works through the official tools that Facebook, Instagram and other platforms provide. When you connect an account, you also remain bound by that platform’s own terms and policies.
We do not control these platforms. They may reject a post, limit what can be edited or deleted after publishing, change their rules, or suspend access. CeriseSocial shows you the result reported by each platform, but we cannot guarantee that every action will succeed on every platform.
Acceptable use
Do not use CeriseSocial to:
- post content that is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- send spam or break the rules of any connected platform;
- access accounts, pages or data you are not authorized to manage;
- try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the security of the service;
- resell or provide the service to others without our written agreement.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
Fees
CeriseSocial is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the prices in advance, and you can choose whether to continue. We will not charge you without your agreement.
Ending your use
You can stop using CeriseSocial and delete your account at any time by following our data deletion instructions. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if the law requires it. Where possible, we will give you notice and a chance to export your content first.
Our rights
CeriseSocial, including its software, design and name, belongs to Afribrainy Investment Co Ltd. These terms do not give you any rights to it beyond using the service as described here.
Warranties and liability
We work hard to keep CeriseSocial reliable and secure, but the service is provided “as is” during early access, without warranties beyond those the law requires.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or profits, or for losses caused by a connected platform, your content, or your use of the service against these terms. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you have not paid anything. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your responsibility for claims
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you published through CeriseSocial or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith. If it cannot be settled, it will be decided by the competent courts in Dar es Salaam.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will notify account owners by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using CeriseSocial after that, the new terms apply.
